Microsoft does some dumb stuff sometimes, this one just bothers me to no end. They thought it would be a good idea to rename their perfectly named "Microsoft Remote Desktop" to "Windows App" typically I'd use Spotlight or Raycast to do a quick search for "Remote" and find the app.

### Raycast

In Raycast you can add an alias to the app and when you search for it you should be able to find it quickly. I used “rdp” the acronym for “Remote Desktop Protocol” which is what I’m so use to calling it. Then I can press the key sequence to open Raycast and type rdp and there it is!
