Axim X30 64 MB PDA w/ DELL Extended Warrantee + Xtras!

So yesterday I was looking around for a PDA on ebay and started doing some online research for the best bang for your buck PDA. I sifted through HP’s Sony’s and some weird unknown ones and finally came to dell. Do I like Dell as a company? Yeah I think so, my work buys servers and other devices of theirs with little to no problems. Have I ever used a Dell PDA? No, but i have messed with a Sony one and didnt like it much. What about HP? Its the HP iPAQ the shit? Yeah but too costly. What i wanted was a PDA that ran a more recent version of the Windows Mobile OS, that had bluetooth and WiFi and would allow me to surf the web and mess with Skype Mobile, and a net stumbling software. After looking for a while I found the Dell Axim series. Dell just released the X50’s and some other ones so the X30’s were going down in price (an old co-worker of mine sold his for $100! (Yeah I was a week short on buying his! Yes, I suck)) so nabbing one now would be good. People love to offload their old gear for new on ebay JUST when something new comes out.

Here is the kicker I bought it from a guy in New Jersey on 9/14 and it arrive here today 9/15. I paid like 6 bucks for shipping so I have no clue how it got here so fast. Only thing i can guess is that the guy paid extra to get it here fast. Dunno. Anyhow I’ll do a mini review on this PDA and share all the cool hacks i end up doing with it.
