Tonight I got home and busted out the Bushnell Reflecting Telescope that Jen’s mother bought the family and did some calibrating on the moon. The moon was a 1/4 or so which gave me a chance to get everything dialed in and let the kids appreciate the gift they got. Later I got the idea of holding the camera to the viewing lense to see if it would capture something. Sure enought it did, but it was a lil blurry. So I ran into the house and got the camera’s tripod and rigged it to hold the camera perfectly alligned with the lense. Below is what I captured using this method:
