From years end to the start of a new year.
2006:
The beginning of December my power steering in my 1966 mustang went out; I still haven’t fixed it. Then Christmas came and everything went well, I got to see my family, Jen’s family and our kids family too. The kids got Nintendo DS’s and Jen got me an awesome MXL990 mic. I got her an Ipod Nano and I bought myself (with my christmas money) an Ipod 30gb.
After Xmas work was very slow, they are doing inventory and the whole office was on lockdown until that was complete. The power went out at work and I had to replace some equipment but other than that it was nice to get some work done that was on the back burner for so long.
I did another recording with the guys from Bar Nuts Podcast. You can listen to the first episode over at thismarriedlife.com until the new barnutspodcast.com site is up and running.
New Years weekend came and it was nice to have some time off during the long weekend. New Years Eve was spent without seeing that robot Dick Clark, we went to my friend Scott’s house to celebrate the new year with him and his friends. His neighbors shot off a couple hundred dollars worth of illegal fireworks that made for the perfect backdrop for me to kiss Jen to bring in the New Year.
2007:
Jen and I have started a new podcast called TuckerTales.com, we did some recording for it last night and also submitted a “things I hate things I love” promo for The UnrealOC Podcast. GeekFit is still in full swing, we took some time off for the holiday and were planning on getting a recording done tonight to kick off the New Year.
