HRBlock and E-Filing

We filed our taxes on 1/25 and we got our Federal return back pretty quick there after. But no state return, which is odd since they sent them at the same time. We efiles so that shit should have been quick, so I emailed the chick that was doing our taxes at HRBlock she replied back with the following:

Jason,
Sorry for the bad news, but CA wasn’t ready at the time the federal was sent and it never got looked into so it was just sent yesterday. Unfortunately this happens every year with all of our early filiers. CA is never ready for efile until the end of January, beginning of February, and some of those just get missed. We have hundreds that we have to go back and check on. I’m really sorry. You choose direct deposit for your refund option, so you should see your money in about 8 to 10 days.
We do have your copies ready to mail to you, and they should be going out soon.

Welp, that sucks, but its a godsend since we have some expenses coming up pretty soon here.

So you all know now, to make sure they file your state shit because every year this happens to people that efile.
