It all started with an IM from Jen.

So Jen messages me with this today:

[14:44] Jen: so this little quiz/ tidbit of useless info came from my pack of cigs: Clay Henry once served as mayor of a texas border town. Other than a fondness for chili beer, what was so unusual about Mr. Henry?
[14:45] Jason: he was a chick?
[14:45] Jen: he was a goat
[14:45] Jason: hahahahah wtf?
[14:45] Jen: dude! i dunno!

So i did some research and came up with this:

Go to The Trading Post in Lajitas, a town of about 100 along the Rio Grande River near Big Bend National Park, and get some long neck beers. Buy them, then feed them to Clay Henry, the beer-drinking goat.

People come from all over to stand outside Clay Henry’s pen and feed him beers all day long. There is no other good reason to be in Lajitas.
