Jessalyn laughed at me!

Over the last few weeks my 3 month old daughter Jessalyn has been laughing when tickled at everyone but ME! Even if I was in the same room she wouldn’t laugh for her mom or her siblings (since I was in the room I guess.. *shrug*). Yesterday I was changing her diaper and played with her a bit, like I usually do. I love messing with her bellybutton I tell her “Is that your belly but…in?” She smiles every time. So and I’d try tickling her, I got almost no vocal reaction. I mean she squirmed like usual and a few grunts but thats it. I blew on her belly (bellyblaster?) and she did a new grunt. Curious.. I tried again, same thing. So I started kissing her belly and sped it up as I moved towards her neck and…. SHE GIGGLED! WOW! I gotta try that again, so I started at the belly button and worked my way up kissing her belly and exaggerated the kissie noises as I moved towards her neck. Giggles, squirms and kicks I finally got a decent laugh!!!

I was SOOO HAPPY. I’ve been dieing for her to laugh; I love being silly with her and getting a reaction from her just adds to the fun. 2 more times I tried and got the same giggle result. I AM THE GIGGLE KING! well, no, her mom is, she rocks at making her laugh. I wonder if shes gonna laugh next time I’m in the same room and someone else tickles her?
