Laptop is acting up.
The laptop I use for work is acting up. Its a Toshiba Satellite and has been giving me some issues over the last week or so. First off the machine runs Windows XP Home and I didnt realize it until about a month into using it that it was in fact running Home edition. I was new to the job and didnt know what all was going on yet, so I just wanted to make sure my laptop had all the apps I needed to get the job done. 1 year and some change later and it started to act crazy. What I plan to do is get a Belarc snapshot of whats running on it and then just format it and install XP Pro on it and start from scratch.
The worst thing about “home” is that it cant join a domain, so that in itself should have prompted me to switch up early. Also, it has been running a bit sluggish, and I have a bunch of junk installed on it. Luckly its friday, so I’ll take it home and get it all ready for next week.
So if you dont see me online, thats why. The damn laptop is being worked on, luckly I have 3 other machines in my office to do my bidding bah ha ha ha ha!
