Someone is confused at PCMall

So I’ve been buying stuff for my company from PC Mall for the last year and a 1/2 and never and an issue… until today. So we get a new Buyer here in the office and the company wants to get him a laptop.. ok, no biggie I spec one out and find a decent HP to get him. I call my sells rep at PC Mall and for some reason the guy isnt there. Fustrated I hop on their website, login and notice my sales rep changed “Pete Freix” hmm, ok.. So its not Manuel Whatever any more.. whatever. So I give “Pete” a call and the phone rings.. then stops… then click click and rings again. Hmm, the phonecall is being forwared.. A few seconds later I hear

Him: “Uh? Hello?”
Me: “Hi, Im Jason Tucker calling from , is this PCMall? It looks like your my new sales rep”
Him: “Oh uhh *drill in the background he says to someone* ‘one second.. its another customer calling me’ Oh Hi Jason, I’m Pete VP of sales for PC Mall, looks like were having some issues with our CRM software back at the office. Can you call back in 1 hour and I’ll have someone help you? I’m at the dentist right now and it looks like there is a mix up.”
Me: “*chuckling* Ummm, ok.. thats odd. Well, umm good luck with the teeth *click*”

Yeah.. thats the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard of. I’ll give the guy a call in an hour we’ll see what happens.
