So fare you can update the following ways:

  1. Directly on Twitter.com
  2. Instant Messenger – TwitterIM is the buddy to message to twitter@twitter.com if your using jabber / gmail / livejournal
  3. Text message on a cellphone – TXT to 40404 your message
  4. Via the API using a program – Twitteriffic (add SIMBL support by installing Twittereeze) for the mac and twadget for vista. More can be found here
