Weekend Update
Friday:
Came home from work to find that Caitlin’s friend Kylye was over and later her mom came by and offered to hang out and buy us pizza. I offered to get the food from Little Caesars, when I went into the place this “vet” came in behind me and started asking for a hand out. It went a lil something like this:
Vet: Hey man, I’m a decorated viet-NAM vet, and well, I was hoping I could get some food.
Pizza Guy: Uhh, we dont do handouts.. *looks around* ok here, *hands him a crazybread bag*
Vet: What? whats this? this doesnt look like a pizza to me
Pizza Guy: No, its crazybread, like I said we dont give handouts here.
Vet: Look, maybe your not aware but there is a US law that states if someone of my stature come in here asking for food you guys are OBLIGATED to do such thing
Pizza Guy: Riiiight hommie, lemme get the boss
Vet: You do that
Pizza Boss: Can I help you?
Vet: Yes, this fine gentlemen is getting me my pizza
Pizza Guy: Naw man, I said we dont do no damn handouts
Pizza Boss: Correct, we dont, I’ve sorry but hes not even suppose to be giving you this crazybread, but well.. here you go
Vet: See, he just walked away to get me my pizza and now your here telling me I can only have this bread.
Pizza Boss: Yes, we dont do handouts.. store policy
Vet: Ah, I see your not aware of the Law that states that DECK-O-Rated vets like myself are allowed to ask for food from food establishments like this place and your OB-LA-GATED to do such thing
Pizza Boss: I guess we dont, sorry no handouts
They kept chatting it up and I left with my 4 Pizzas and 2 crazy breads and headed home to feed the beasts
Saturday:
We cleaned out the garage and then headed out to Kelly’s to get Canopy. After we broke the canopy down and packed it up I went upstairs at their place and fixed Billy’s co-workers computer. Wipped out the porn popups and spyware and did some tests and it was good to go. Then Shawn showed up with his computer and did a lil bit of the same thing, and tried to fix some issue with his drivers in winblows.. not luck tracking that down. Later we headed home and crashed out.
Sunday:
Worke up early and built the canopy and got that knocked out. After that we headed out to my Mom’s to pick up some must need items for the beach trip were going to be doing in July (14’x14′ Tent, George Foreman style propane powered grill, and a ice chest). Later we went with my mom and my stepdad to Fazoli’s Fast Italian Food for some grub.
This week is going to be nuts, I need to configure my pix router to allow connections to my internal webserver, and get our website at work switched over and launch the newly designed site. I also need to get my damn VPN to work… man I hate cisco. Fun Fun!… eh.
