Memphis Grizzlies vs OKC Thunder Game 5 tonight: time TV channel

The first round series between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Oklahoma City Thunder has been the poster child for this year’s parity inspired first round NBA playoffs, in which nearly every team is putting up respectable results and almost no one – particularly in the western conference – is looking like a clear cut contender. That parity has Memphis and OKC tied up at two games apiece heading into tonight’s pivotal Game 5, which won’t determine the series but will hand control of it to one team or the other.

The Thunder are still looking to get past the 2012 trade of James Harden, with whom they advanced all the way to the NBA Finals. Without him, they’ve struggled in early in the playoffs each of the past two years, despite having league MVP Kevin Durant and premier guard Russell Westbrook. Memphis is leaning on Zach Randolph, who has been up and down thus far in the series. The winner of the series will face the winner of the far more controversial Clippers-Warriors series, which is also tied at two games apiece.

Tonight’s Memphis Grizzlies vs Oklahoma City Thunder NBA playoff game tips off with a starting time of 9pm eastern time, 8pm local OKC time, and will air on television on TV channel NBATV.
